I have been in the early childhood sector for over 13 years. I completed my Master’s in Early Childhood Education in 2023 and am currently undergoing my PDP-L.

Under my leadership, our centre achieved SPARK (Commendation) accreditation in 2022. I have fostered an environment where teachers are empowered to excel, leading to multiple PCF awards and national recognitions. These accolades are a testament to the dedication and passion of our teachers in providing the best for the children in our centre.

As a centre leader, I strive to inspire my teachers to hunger for knowledge and to enhance their skills and knowledge through professional development and personal reflections. Through our sharing and collaborations, teachers can sharpen their skills and implement more engaging activities for the children in their class. My approach involves appreciating and understanding each child individually. These interactions provide insights into their interests, abilities, and strengths. I then collaborate closely with the teachers to implement personalised, strength-based approaches that cater to each child’s unique learning style.

Our centre’s success is not just a result of our internal efforts, but also our active collaboration with national agencies and community partners. In 2023, we joined hands with the Singapore Kindness Movement and together, we raised $2,000 for the President’s Challenge, demonstrating the power of collective action in supporting our children and community.
