Social and Emotional Development

4 years old

  • As your child progresses through our Nursery Class, they will further develop their social and emotional skills in a nurturing and supportive environment. Through engaging activities and discussions, children learn to express their feelings and opinions, manage their emotions, and build relationships with their peers. Teachers encourage responsibility and respect for others while fostering a sense of diversity and inclusivity within the classroom.

Language and Literacy

4 years old

  • In our Nursery Class, language and literacy skills are cultivated through immersive experiences and interactive learning. Children engage in storytelling, discussions and language games to enhance their listening and speaking abilities. They learn about sentence structure, conventions of print, and the functions of punctuation marks while expressing themselves through drawing, mark-making, and writing activities.

Motor Skills Development

4 years old

  • Physical development is promoted through a variety of movement activities that enhance gross and fine motor skills. From stretching and balancing exercises to throwing and catching balls, children engage in activities that improve coordination and balance. Fine motor skills are refined through activities like cutting, tearing and threading, which also contribute to their overall dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Aesthetics and Creative Expression

4 years old

  • Creativity is encouraged through artistic exploration and musical experiences. Children experiment with different art materials and techniques to create their own masterpieces, while also expressing themselves through music and movement. Teachers inspire discussions about artwork and encourage children to express their ideas and feelings through various forms of artistic expression.

Discovery of the World

4 years old

  • Our Nursery Class provides opportunities for children to explore their surroundings and learn about the world around them.
