Join us for an exciting day of engaging activities!

Explore the STEMIE inventions at the booths and be amazed by the innovative creations of our Sparkletots children!

STEMIE stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Invention and Entrepreneurship. Through this programme, children learn to solve real world challenges using creative and practical solutions.

But that’s not all. This event is packed with hands-on engaging activities. Bond with your child by participating in our problem-solving activities, and don’t miss out on the chance to redeem a free fan painting session!

Check out our fun activities below!

Activities are free to join and available at both locations!

Recommended for children between 4 years to 6 years old. Children must be accompanied by their parents/guardians at all times.

Take a look at some of our children’s inventions!

Our Sparkletots children have created numerous creative inventions through the STEMIE programme!

Get up close to 170 inventions at the STEMIE showcase at Future Ready Fair and be amazed at their innovative solutions. Here’s a sneak peek at some of our children’s works:

Blind-Friendly Water Dispenser – Invented by Ng Rui Zhen

Rui Zhen designed a blindfriendly water dispenser that helps people with visual impairment in pouring water. Users can feel the buttons on the dispenser to pick either room temperature water or hot boiling water.

Rui Zhen used a magnet on the cup to act as a water sensor for users to control the amount of water they need. With this handy device, visually impaired people can pour water without worrying about water overflowing from the cup and scalding their hands. What a helpful tool!

Floral Breeze Truck – Invented by Lim Ching Tung and Kan Ho Ching

Have you ever tried to hold your breath or pinch your nose whenever a garbage truck drives past you?

Ching Tung and Ho Ching invented the Floral Breeze Truck that works like a charm to mask the stench of smelly garbage trucks. It includes a fan system to diffuse the scent efficiently. The children have tapped into their knowledge of science and engineering to keep Singapore’s air aromatic!

Beach Buddy – Invented by Peddisetty Advaith Vihaan

Advaith aims to promote a clean beach for all with his robot device Beach Buddy. It is a user-friendly innovation that allows members of the public to keep picnic areas clean with just the press of a button.

Clearing up the thrash after an outing to the beach becomes much more convenient. With Beach Buddy, we can keep Singapore’s beaches clean and protect our marine habitats and wildlife!
