Key Responsibilities
- Chart the centre’s direction and work towards achieving its short- and long-term goals aligned with its strategic thrusts.
- Clarify PCF’s mission and values to all staff.
- Set goals of the Centre to garner support from its main stakeholders for achieving the goals set.
- Participate in networking, sharing and collaboration among the centre schools within the cluster to raise the centre’s performance level.
- Work with Admin & Accounts Team on the day-to-day centres’ operations including finance, human resource policies and practices and optimise the use of cluster financial resources to build a strong preschool programme.
- Conduct learning needs analysis for professional development and recommends personnel with potential for career development.
- Enhance the image of the centre anchored upon its quality educational programmes, organisational excellence and the professionalism of the teaching staff.
- Supervise centre teachers and harness their support to ensure the delivery of a meaningful, engaging, child-centred and sound curriculum in line with the principles spelt out in the ECDA ECE Framework.
- Ensure that learning is supported by a conducive and safe environment where children can explore, experiment, question, acquire knowledge and skills and create new knowledge.
- Take on the role of instructional leader in monitoring children’s achievement and development and using data-based trends to assess curriculum areas for improvement and growth.
- Lead, guide, coach and inspire the staff to contribute their creativity, professional expertise, talents and skills towards delivering a curriculum that meets children’s needs.
- Responsible for day-to-day HR activities – Recruitment, Orientation, Performance Appraisal, Learning Needs Analysis and Exit Interviews – for Senior Teachers, Teachers and Admin & Accounts staff. Refer to the Responsibility Matrix for detailed responsibilities towards these positions.
- Create a safe learning environment and to provide the best possible care to children under their charge.
- To perform projects allocated by the Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits with grade B4 in EL1 and
- Diploma in Pre-school Education – Teaching (DPE-T) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T), or equivalent recognised by ECDA and
- Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L), or equivalent recognised by ECDA and/or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood
- Min. 2 years experience in a preschool setting

Key Responsibilities
- Guide the care programme coordinators to care for the well-being and safety of elderly clients [at all times] in the Senior Care Centre
- Coordinate the planning and conducting of structured and interactive programme activities for the elderly clients
- Assist in serving pre-packed medication
- Assist in client health monitoring and assessment
- Aid in meal preparation and serving
- Update and assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Initiate Care Plan (ICP)
- Provide dysphagia care and EatSafe protocol
- Support clients in distress including persons living with dementia
- Assist in the Modified Barthel Index (MBI) assessment
- Perform basic Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Assist with Passive Range of Motion exercises (PROM)
- Perform escort duties and build rapport with clients and their family members
- Assist in cleaning and disinfecting tasks
- Participate in and support centre events
Job Holder Requirements and Qualifications
- Advanced/Higher/Certificate in Community & Social Service [Senior Care Services]and good “O” level [minimum 3 credits] or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support [Nursing care]
- Competency in eldercare service with at least 3 years working experience in an eldercare institution
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a passionate disposition to care for elderly clients
- Be able to engage comfortably with elderly clients
- Be able to prepare and conduct care programmes for seniors; e.g. daily news chats/cooking therapy/art & craft/singing sessions/dancing, reminiscence therapy; etc.
Special Qualities & Knowledge Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a passionate disposition to care for elderly clients
- Be able to engage comfortably with elderly clients

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain a high level of customer service and client/caregiver engagement.
- Manage the conduct of client assessments during admissions and periodic review and update clients’ Individual Care Plan [ICP].
- Provide financial counselling on all available schemes of services appropriately for individual client’s admission.
- Lead and supervise the care team of around 20 to deliver care focused on person-centered client programmes and oversee clients’ safety and care and take an active role in programme design to adjust to the changing client base.
- Conduct multidisciplinary case discussions with Therapists, Nurse and the care team and ensure that the clients’ care plans are fulfilled for the clients’ well-being.
- Manage staff recruitment and training needs.
- Maintain financial accountability by reviewing, forecasting, preparing, and justifying operational and capital budgets and manage client (daycare) intake to fulfill MOH’s requirements.
- Maintain inventory control of assets and consumables and ensure regular maintenance of equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the Admin & Finance team on admin/finance issues that need interfacing with centre management and also oversee the day-to-day customer facing operations that the Admin & Finance team is managing.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Establish and oversee a volunteer group to support the conducting of activities in the centre.
- Understand dementia issues and know how to manage clients who display behavioural problems [associated with onset of dementia].
- Manage enquiries (in person at centre as well as through other means of communications) with timely follow-up.
- Participate actively in ad hoc projects as required by Director, Senior Care Division
- Take charge of following up on clients’ arrears issues to find a resolution where needed.
Job Holder Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited University
- Preference will be given to candidates with a Nursing Degree/Diploma or Degree/Diploma/Specialist Certification in eldercare [or dementia care] from a recognized local or overseas institution
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a hospital or eldercare setting and at least 3 years of managerial experience managing a team of staff preferably more than 10 staff
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to take charge to resolve operational issues expeditiously
- Possess a compassionate and sincere disposition to care for frail seniors

- Process fee invoices and handle fee collection

- Be involved in SOP preparation and digitalization
